About the Conference

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli, one of the prominent Engineering Institutions in India, takes immense pleasure in organizing an International Conference on Microwave Integrated Circuits, Photonics and Wireless Networks (IMICPW-2019) in association with Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Andaman. This conference will provide a forum to academic researchers, practicing engineers, and industry experts to present and discuss their recent work, technical advancements, and new products. Main objective of IEEE IMICPW-2019 is to provide a platform for the community of researchers and practising engineers to meet and present their latest technical achievements in microwave and RF components, circuits & systems, photonics, wireless networks and Wireless Signal Processing.  About the Institution

National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli (NITT), is one among the premier Institutions of India and is well known for its high standards in teaching and research. It offers 10 Undergraduate and 23 Postgraduate programs in disciplines of spanning Engineering, Science, Architecture and Management. It has been declared as an Institute of National Importance by the Government of India under NIT Act. National Institute of Technology (NIT) Trichy retained its 1st position amongst its 31 counterparts in the country in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2019 Ranking (Engineering) released by the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development and it also retained 10th position among all engineering institutions across India. The Institute has signed MoUs with various Industries and Institutions both in India as well as in abroad to promote collaborative research and consultancy

 About the City

Tiruchirappalli also called Trichy, is a major tier II city in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu and the administrative headquarters of Tiruchirappalli District. Trichy is the fourth largest city as well as the fourth largest urban agglomeration in the state. Located 322 kilometres of Chennai and 374 kilometres of Kanyakumari, Tiruchirappalli sits almost at the geographic centre of the state.
